The marketing campaign for the 2010 Second Career Expo will be extensive and employ several media tools. While the website will be  updated daily up to and including September 16, 2010, the main advertising campaign will launch approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.

The Second Career Expo 2010 Marketing Campaign will include:

  • Newspaper ads in the Daily Miner and News and Lake of the Woods Enterprise as well as a 4 page insert in the Kenora Enterprise which will be distributed to communities throughout Northwestern Ontario;
  • Radio ads on local FM station(s) as well as remote broadcasts throughout the day;
  • Internet links to and from exhibitor and sponsor websites;
  • 2010 Second Career Expo website;
  • Blitz billboard advertising;
  • Public service announcements in all media;
  • Flyer mail out distributed with municipal utility bills;
  • Brochures distributed through employment service offices;
  • Posters and counter cards in restaurants, stores, community buildings and offices;
  • Billboard and large outdoor signage;
  • Use of reader boards around the city;
  • Directional road signage on the day of the event
